  45. On this subject (HD rates), some may be interested than when you do finally
  46. get your NLE up to 'high' speed, there is another solution coming besides a
  47. RAID array.

  49. Applied Magic (the Broadcaster Elite guys) are advertising a product called
  50. "Quick-Array" which hooks up to any platform using SCSI (AMi/Mac/PC) and
  51. controls a 'mini-array' of 2 (preferably identical) SCSI-2 FAST drives....the
  52. list price is $1299.00 Canadian.  I think that's about six bucks US ;)

  54. After installation, the two drives are seen by the system as a single drive,
  55. and use only one SCSI ID on the bus.
